The Emul is a chimera, a bio-engineered creature from Council Luna research, that has been genetically modified to be a fast mount for travelers on the Martian terrain. It resembles a large, ostrich-like bird but is sturdy enough to accommodate a human rider. It can reach speeds up to 35 miles per hour with a human rider. It is known to have a ferocious temper.
