The meteors that rain down on the Martian surface are no ordinary rocks. In the year 2370 (the Levana NFT Launch Video seems to suggest 2458) a wormhole opened above Mars that released a maelstrom of meteors. Thousands of these meteors remained in orbit around the Red Planet and fell periodically in meteor showers. The Free Martians, who have a variety of uses for meteor dust including Crafting, scour the planet in the wake of meteor showers in hope of finding valuable meteors.
